Short version: your playlist, channels, favorites, and watch history live in your browser's IndexedDB on your own device. We do not have copies on our servers. Below is the longer version.
What stays on your device
- Playlists (M3U URLs, Stalker portal URL + MAC, channel lists)
- Profiles, favorites, watch history, parental PIN hash
- Tenant config cache, EPG data, TMDB enrichment cache
What our servers see
- Tenant config requests (`/config?tenant=...`) — used to fetch your white-label branding. We log the tenant ID and a request timestamp.
- Stalker portal proxy — when your playlist source is a Stalker MAG portal, we proxy the handshake + channel-list calls on your behalf because browsers block them directly. The portal URL + MAC pass through our backend; we do not persistently store these beyond an in-memory session cache (30 minutes) used to avoid rate-limiting the upstream portal.
- Stream proxy — when the app is served over HTTPS and your portal stream is HTTP, we relay the video bytes through our backend so your browser will play them. We do not record what you watch on our servers.
- Aggregate analytics (planned, not yet live): which features are used, how often. No personally identifying information; no IP-linked history.
What we don't do
- Sell your data
- Track you across other sites
- Store your playlists on our servers
- Embed third-party ad / tracking pixels
Cookies
We don't use cookies for tracking. The app stores its state in IndexedDB on your device.
